The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the theft of items from a Spectrum utility box in the 8000 block of Graham Road in Cedar Hill. A power supply and three batteries were stolen from the box, police reported.
Spectrum contacted the Sheriff’s Office on March 25 after receiving reports about a power outage in the area. An employee discovered the utility box was damaged and the items were stolen, the report said.
The Sheriff’s Office did not report an approximate value for the stolen items or an estimated cost to repair the utility box.
As of March 28, none of the items had been recovered, and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
