De Soto senior Isaac Foeller (41-1) will try to become the second Foeller to win a state title (his sister, Jaycee, was a three-time undefeated state champion for De Soto’s girls team) and the Dragons’ second heavyweight champ in three years later tonight when he wrestles undefeated McDonald County junior Jaycee Hitt (25-0) for the 285 crown.
De Soto’s Brenton Drummond (113, fifth place) and Windsor’s Brice Henry (175, third) have advanced to the medal round.
The Class 4 boys semifinals and wrestlebacks are later today.
So far in Class 2 girls state wrestling, Seckman’s Andrea Karagiannis (105) and Northwest’s Abby Chandler (190) have qualified for the medal rounds.
