A 68-year-old Fenton woman died in a crash on Tuesday, April 14, on Little Bennan Road near High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
The Highway Patrol does not publish names of those involved in accidents. The Regional Medical Examiner’s Office identified the woman as Mary Brown.
At 8:35 a.m., Brown, driving a Honda Odyssey, failed to yield to oncoming traffic and turned left toward Emerson Road, the report said.
The Highway Patrol reported that 56-year-old Fenton man, driving a 2017 BMW, struck the right side of the Honda. Brown continued traveling west and struck a 2017 Ford F-350, driven by a 33-year-old High Ridge man. The Honda then traveled off the road, struck a curb, a highway post and a yard sewer access cover. She continued into a private parking lot, struck a parked 2006 Toyota Highlander and a building before stopping.
North Jefferson County Ambulance District personnel transported Brown to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where she was pronounced dead at 12:12 p.m., the report said.
According to the report, Brown was not wearing a seat belt. The other two drivers involved in the accident were wearing seat belts.
The Honda was totaled, the BMW was extensively damaged and the Ford pickup and the Toyota had minor damage, the report said.
