Patricia Joan Winford, 87, of Festus died April 30, 2026, at Scenic Nursing and Rehab in Herculaneum. Mrs. Winford was a member of New Testament Baptist Church in Festus and a retired medical receptionist for Dr. Mauro Carranza in Hillsboro. Born Aug. 5, 1938, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Margaret (Kyle) and Dale Olinger.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years: Claud J. Winford; a daughter: Janet (Glen) Sinks of Arnold; a son: Curtis Winford of Festus; a sister: Beverly (William) Wegmann of Pevely; four grandchildren: Christopher (Heather) Sinks, Colleen (Jake) Nichols, Jacob (Amy) Winford and Hailey Winford; and four great-grandchildren: Madison Nichols, Matthew Nichols, Emma Nichols and Callahan Winford.
She was preceded in death by two brothers: Larry (Donna survives of Festus) Olinger and Norval Olinger.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. Monday, May 11, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 12, at the funeral home, officiated by Pastor Frederick Bond of New Testament Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Memorials may be made to New Testament Baptist Church. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home
