
Milton D. Cook Sr., 93, of Arnold died Feb. 6, 2024, at his home. Mr. Cook was a retired railroad carman. Born Dec. 7, 1930, in Sedalia, he was the son of the late Ida (Davis) and Elijah Cook.
He was preceded in death by a wife: Mary (Schults) Cook.
He is survived by a wife: Diana (Marshall) Cook; four children: Milton (Kellie) Cook, Marvin Cook, Matt (Bobbie) Cook and Garret (Katie) Cook; seven grandchildren: Jessica Cook, Tyler (Tosha) Cook, Margot Rider, James (Randa) Cook, Amanda (Fiance Aaron Mogensen) Cook, Levi Cook and Landon Cook; 11 great-grandchildren: Alivia Twiggs, Joseph Hembree, Tommy Smith, Dakota Smith, Chloe Smith, Riley Cook, Maddie Cook, Paisley Thomas, Gracelyn Thomas, Gracelyn Pemberton and Emersyn Venable; and many other family members and friends.
He also was preceded in death by two children: Mike and Mary Cook; and three siblings: Ferrel Long, John Cook and Margaret Walters.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 12, at Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home, 1081 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold. Burial will follow in Shepherd Hills Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the De Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis. Arrangements are under the direction of Heiligtag-Lang-Fendler Funeral Home.
