Louis E. "Lou" Luster, 90, of Perryville died Sept. 13, 2024, in House Springs. Mr. Luster owned an electronics assembly company. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of the Perryville Eagles and American Legion. He was also a frequent patron of The Spillway. Born April 18, 1934, in De Queen, Ark., he was the youngest of 14 siblings and the son of the late Sallie (Bradley) and James E. Luster.
He was preceded in death by his former wife: Anna (Campbell) Luster Hickman.
He is survived by three children: Lewis Luster of south St. Louis County, Sabrena (Daniel) Olson of House Springs and Carla Luster of De Soto; six grandchildren: Kristin Olson Robbins, Jessica (Tim) Meeks, Laura (Jason) Hilton, Molly (Chris) Meyers, Mary Anna Stubbs and Robby Stubbs; eight great-grandchildren: Dylan, Andrew, Brooke, Caleigh, Kinsley, LeAnna, Kyler and Lincoln.
He also was preceded in death by 13 siblings.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-9 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 17, at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, in south St. Louis County. A funeral service is scheduled for 10 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 18, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis South County Chapel.
