Jimmy-Jack Larry “Triple” Johnston, 39, of De Soto died May 8, 2024, in St. Louis. Mr. Johnston was a fence installer for Imperial Fence Co. Born Feb. 15, 1985, in St. Louis, he was the son of Cleta “June” (Pippin) Johnston of Festus and the late Ronald Johnston Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by three siblings: Tena (Kevin Taylor) Peery of Festus, Ronald “Bo” (Angela) Johnston Jr. of Park Hills and Andrew Johnston of Festus; 11 nieces and nephews: Joseph, Nicholas, Anthony, Harley, Demi, Dylan, Lindsey, Andy, Haley, Alex and Drew; great-nieces: Dylanie, Millie, Breylene and Harlow; great-nephew: Xander; special friends: Kasey, her daughters Trinity and Makaylea, and Stephanie, and her son Jackson; and two longtime friends: Kim Owens and Jennifer Buechting Mercer.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 16, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Pippin Family Cemetery in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
