Dorothy Marie Tellmann, 78, of Arnold died July 3, 2024, at her home. Mrs. Tellmann was known as “Dot” or “Dottie” by her friends and was given the name "Rocky" after a fun-filled vacation. She was retired and enjoyed ceramics, bowling, playing bingo and reading romance novels. Born Dec. 29, 1945, in Walnut Ridge, Ark., she was the daughter of the late Marion Claude and Lois (Dulaney) Gilbert.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years: Bill Tellmann.
She is survived by a child: Michael (the late Angie) Tellmann of Cookeville, Tenn.; a grandchild: Reese (Savanah) Parks of Chattanooga, Tenn.; a great-grandchild: Huntleigh Sage; a great-grandchild on the way; and two sisters: Hazel Woods of Sikeston and Diane Gilbert of Sikeston.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Toni Ann Cantrell; and a grand cat: Anakin.
Arrangements are under the direction of Cypress Pointe Cremation in St. Louis.
