Deborah Lynn Priest, 71, of Festus died May 3, 2024, at her home. Born Sept. 1, 1952, in St. Louis, Mrs. Priest was the daughter of Irma (McCormack) Smith-Maupin of Herculaneum and the late Raymond Francis Smith.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by her husband: Michael Priest; two children: Michelle (John) Cage of Herculaneum and Michael (Jessica) Priest Jr. of Festus; two siblings: Gregory Smith of Bonne Terre and Barbara (David) Doza of Festus; three grandchildren: Ashley Cage, Kayla Cage and Christopher (Brooke) cage; and five great-grandchildren: Eli Hernandez, Xavier Hernandez, Scarlet Hernandez, Isabella Billups and Aurora Billups.
She was preceded in death by a brother: Raymond Francis Smith Jr.
Visitation is scheduled from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 1 p.m. Tuesday, May 7, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus. Burial will be in Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Crystal City. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
