Carol Jane Hill, 85, of Pevely died May 17, 2024, at Scenic Nursing Home in Herculaneum. Born June 22, 1938, Mrs. Hill was the daughter of the late Mary (Johnson) and Hubert Coble.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Lonnie Hill.
She is survived by four children: Stephanie (Bob) Noce of Bloomsdale, Dana (the late Danny) DeRousse of Festus, Lisa (Randy) Ramey of Festus and Scott (Lynn) Weiss of Festus; three brothers: Clifford (Pat) Coble of St. Louis, Steve (Mary) Coble of Union and Everett (Kaffee) Coble of Park Hills; seven grandchildren: Kelli (Chris) Rapp, Steven Gerard, Kasey (Greg) Robinson, James (Nikki) Weiss, Chris (Ellen) Ramey, Joe Ramey and Lauren (Kyle) Dawidowski; and 13 great-grandchildren.
She also was preceded in death by five sisters: Louise (Ray) Harsey, Maxine (Roy) Williams, Gladys (John) Wilson, Virginia (Bob) Welch and Judy (Gervis) Eye; and a granddaughter: Melissa (DeRousse) Carter.
A memorial visitation is scheduled from 5 p.m. until a memorial service at 7 p.m. Wednesday, May 29, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus, officiated by Pastor Shaun Radcliff. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
