Eric Howard Wallen, 34, of Hillsboro died April 19, 2019. Mr. Wallen is remembered as a bright presence with a contagious smile and laugh. Born Dec. 28, 1984, he was the son of Gertha Mary (William) Wright and the late George Wallen.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother: Jerry N. (Yolanda M.) Jones; and his grandparents: George and Roberta Wallen.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Vicki M. Daugherty.
Memorial visitation is at 1 p.m. and a memorial service will follow at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 4, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro. Arrangements are under the direction of Robert D. Brown Funeral Home.
