Della J. (Markell) Stout, 71, of High Ridge died May 19, 2015. Mrs. Stout was born June 29, 1943, in Hannibal, the daughter of the late Victor and Margaret Jane (Scott) Markell. Mrs. Stout was a retired hairstylist with Hairtopia in Kirkwood. She was an avid reader and enjoyed crocheting, going to casinos and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband: Ernest “Red” Stout; a daughter: Nancy (John) Talton of Atlanta, Ga; five stepchildren: Rita (Darryl) Leach of Potosi, Doris (Steven) Crookshank of Puyallup, Wash., Charles Stout of St. Louis, Michael (Rhonda) Stout of St. Louis County and Marilyn (Randy) Deal of Barnhart; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, siblings, siblings-in-law, nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday, May 30, at Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois, in St. Louis County. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements are under the direction of Kutis Affton Chapel.
