Christopher Ecton, 40, of Barnhart died Oct. 8, 2022, at his home. Mr. Ecton was an electrician. He was a Christian and a member of the Meramec Arnold Elks. Born May 7, 1982, in Florissant, he was the son of Sonja (Ferrell) and Robert Ecton of Barnhart.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of seven years: Ashli Ballard Ecton; three children: Orion, Luna Rhea and Violet-Rose Rhea Ecton, all of Barnhart; a stepson: Coen Joseph Moszer of St. Louis; three siblings: Jennifer Fick of Warrenton, Heather Hartnett of Richmond, Ky., and Robin Hebert of Warrenton; his grandfather: Gene Ecton of St. Charles; six nephews; two nieces; four aunts; three uncles; and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by one child: Angel Christopher Ecton; his grandmothers: Willadean Ecton and Donna Whitney; his grandfathers: Donald Whitney and Donald Leon Ferrell; and an uncle: Perry Ecton.
A celebration of life is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Baue Funeral Home, 3950 W. Clay St., in St. Charles. Memorials may be made to the National Alliance on Mental Illness of St. Louis or Comtrea Behavioral Health in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Baue Funeral Home.
