Carol Jean “Jeannie” Kramme, 86, of Fenton died May 16, 2021, in St. Louis. Mrs. Kramme lived and shared her faith and was an active member of St. Martin’s United Church of Christ in Dittmer. She was actively involved in youth camp outreach programs at Camp Aurora and Shannondale, as well as volunteering at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Born June 11, 1934, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late William and Ella (Bruns) Weber.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years: Hugo Kramme; three children: Donna (David) Eads, David (Denise) Kramme and Gary (Cindi) Kramme; seven grandchildren: April (Ed) Wagner, Bill (Heather) Kramme, Sara (Matthew) Sutorius, Craig (Amy) Kramme, Cassie (Nick) Doerger, Jake (Lindsey) Cole and Brittany Cole; 13 great-grandchildren: Bayly, Alex, Brylee, Eulalie, Henry, Peyton, Mariel, Charlotte, Vada, Greyson, Aleister, Aiden and Porter’ two siblings: Marilyn Viehland and William “Neal” (Jane) Weber; along with numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Thursday, May 20, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Visitation is from 10 a.m. until a funeral service at 11 a.m. Friday, May 21, at St. Martin’s United Church of Christ, 7890 Dittmer Ridge Road, in Dittmer. Burial will follow in the St. Martins United Church of Christ Cemetery. Memorials may be made to St. Martin’s United Church of Christ Cemetery Fund, 7890 Dittmer Ridge Road, Dittmer, 63023. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
