Anita Mildred (Forbes) Henriksen, 83, De Soto
Anita Mildred (Forbes) Henriksen, 83, of De Soto died Dec. 4, 2022. Mrs. Henriksen was a homemaker. She was Christian and had strong faith, and she and her husband were missionary partners. She loved spending time with her family, and she will be remembered for her smile, her loving nature and her willingness to help others. Born Oct. 31, 1939, she was the daughter of the late James and Anita Forbes.
She is survived by her husband: Warren Henriksen; three children: Wayne (Paula) Henriksen, Brenda (Keith) Robinson and Teresa (Brian) White; seven grandchildren: Wade Henriksen, Ryan (Rachel) Henriksen, Jonathon (Angie) Robinson, David (Caley) Robinson, Joseph (Bailey) Robinson, and Taylor and Kaitlyn White; 11 great-grandchildren: Savannah, Brooklyn, Benjamin, Emily, Adeline, Liam, Raelynn, Brooklynn, Hunter, Hazel and Kienen; a sister: Elsie Germer; and a brother-in-law: Gary (Jan) Henriksen.
She was preceded in death by a sister: Betty; and three brothers: James, Leroy and Alvin.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at noon Thursday, Dec. 15, at Robert D. Brown Funeral Home, 103 Fourth St., in Hillsboro, officiated by Steven Miller. Burial will be in the National Cemetery at Jefferson Barracks.
