Charges have been filed against a Waynesville woman in connection to a Tuesday night shooting incident that injured two people in Pulaski County.
Amanda Sherrill, 41, is charged with first-degree assault and armed criminal action, according to online court records.
According to the probable cause statement, Pulaski County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched to a St. Robert residence around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a person who believed he had been shot in the leg.
Law enforcement said they found a man with a gunshot wound to the abdomen at the residence and a second victim a short distance away who had a gunshot wound to the buttocks area.
Court filings indicate the second victim was not shot by Sherrill, but by someone whose name was redacted in the probable cause statement.
Both victims were transported to Phelps Health Hospital for medical treatment, according to the probable cause statement.
Investigators said that before the shooting, Sherrill involved herself in a dispute between two other people over a stolen phone. Court documents said that dispute turned into a physical altercation involving Sherrill.
Ring camera footage then allegedly shows Sherrill shooting the first victim at the residence and fleeing the scene on foot, according to the probable cause statement.
