A St. Louis man was recently booked into the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro after he was arrested last year by the Arnold Police. The man allegedly stole items from the Kohl’s store, 2150 Michigan Ave., in Arnold, court records show.
On June 11, Sylvester Michael Hill, 38, was booked into the Jefferson County Jail, where he was being held on a $1,200 bond, jail records said.
The Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office on April 24 charged Hill with felony stealing.
According to a probable-cause statement filed by Arnold Police, Hill allegedly stole clothing, toys, domestic items and other accessories from Kohl’s in August. The value of the stolen items was $947.84.
He also has been charged with felony stealing a motor vehicle in St. Louis and felony possession of a controlled substance in St. Louis County, according to court documents.
