A woman has been taken into custody in Pulaski County in relation to a shooting incident that injured two people.
On Tuesday, the Pulaski County Sheriff's Office issued a public safety alert on Facebook asking the public to assist them regarding the whereabouts of a person of interest in a shooting where two people were injured.
Amanda Sherrill, 41, was arrested and taken to the Pulaski County Jail at approximately 11:45 p.m. on Tuesday, according to the updated Facebook post. She was initially wanted for questioning and believed to be armed and dangerous. The sheriff's office warned the public not to attempt to approach or contact her.
Before her arrest, Sherrill was last seen walking on Tampa Road, appearing to head toward St. Robert, according to the Facebook post.
According to the post, Sherrill was located with the help of St. Robert Police Officers.
