A dead body found off Black Creek Road in Imperial this morning (Dec. 7) has been identified, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The deceased is Leslie J. Nunn, 48, of Arnold, Capt. Gary Higginbotham said this afternoon.
He said the man had not been reported missing and no cause of death had been determined.
“There are no obvious signs of injury,” Higginbotham said. “We have to wait on the medical examiner’s report.”
The Sheriff’s Office got a call about the body at 7:30 a.m., after a man who was walking his dogs discovered it.
“He called it in,” Higginbotham said.
