Arnold Police are investigating recent vandalism at St. David Catholic Church, 2334 Tenbrook Road. Detective Lt. James Jones said Arnold Police have received four or five recent reports about property damage there. The last two incidents were reported on July 8 and on July 10.
Between 9 p.m. July 7 and 5:30 a.m. July 8, someone apparently used a ladder found on the church grounds to get on the roof and then broke three skylights, causing $1,500 in damage, Arnold Police reported.
Then, between noon July 9 and 9 a.m. July 10, someone broke into a concession stand near the church ballfields and damaged a storm door, a window and items inside the stand. In all, the damage was estimated at $2,000, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
He said here were no suspects or arrests as of July 21. Anyone with information is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
Arnold Police have stepped up patrols around the church, Jones said.
