A 2003 Harley-Davidson Sportster was stolen from outside an apartment in the 400 block of Thoreau Trail in High Ridge. The motorcycle was valued at about $4,000, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office reported.
The victim told investigators he parked the motorcycle just after midnight Oct. 5 in a breezeway outside an apartment door and when he went outside at 7 a.m., the bike was gone. The victim still had the keys to the motorcycle, according to the report.
As of Oct. 7, the bike had not been recovered and no suspects had been identified, spokesman Grant Bissell said. He asks anyone with information about the theft to call the Sheriff’s Office at 636-797-5515.
