Arnold Police are investigating a recent theft of a handgun from an unlocked car parked in front of a house in the 1400 block of Cherokee Court. The theft happened between 6 p.m. June 23 and 5:36 a.m. June 24, the report said.
A black Springfield .40-caliber handgun was stolen from the car, a 2009 Ford Mustang. The gun was valued at $500, according to the report.
As of July 7, the gun had not been recovered. There were no suspects or arrests either, Detective Lt. James Jones said. He urges anyone with information about the theft to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
