CHISHOLM, NICHOLAS CRIME 2025

Nicholas Chisholm

Nicholas Chisholm, 25, of Barnhart has been accused of trying to arrange a sexual encounter with a 13-year-old girl. The teenager he allegedly exchanged messages with to arrange a meeting, however, turned out to be a St. Charles County Police officer posing as a young girl, court records show.

On Jan. 21, the St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office charged Chisholm with enticement or attempted enticement of a child, an unclassified felony punishable by five to 30 years in prison, and resisting arrest, a class E felony that carries a penalty of up to four years in prison, court documents said.

As of Monday, Jan. 27, Chisholm was being held on a $100,000 cash-only bond at the St. Charles County Jail. A bond hearing was scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 28, according to court records.

Chisholm allegedly contacted the officer, who he thought was a young girl, on Jan. 17 to arrange a meeting in St. Charles County. He was met by officers that day at the arranged location, the report said.

Chisholm attempted to run from the officers, but he was arrested, according to the report.
