A 2013 Hyundai Elantra stolen from a home in the 2700 block of Rosewood Drive in Arnold was recovered two days later in St. Louis. A window was broken, and the ignition was damaged, police reported.
A 64-year-old Arnold woman told police she parked the car outside her home at about 8:30 p.m. March 2, and she discovered it was gone at about 7:45 a.m. March 3, the report said.
St. Louis Police found the car unoccupied on March 5 in the 6200 block of Michigan Avenue, according to the report.
The cost to repair the window was estimated at $200. An estimate for the damage to the ignition was not provided, Arnold Police said.
As of March 9, no suspects had been identified, Detective Lt. Jeremy Christopher said. Anyone with information about the incident should call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
