Arnold Police will seek charges against a 42-year-old Arnold man for allegedly punching and kicking his girlfriend. The woman was hurt in the alleged assault and had to be transported to an area hospital for treatment, according to the report.
At 8:49 a.m. June 14, Arnold Police got a call about a domestic assault at an apartment in the 3200 block of Richardson Place. The man reportedly punched the woman in the face and kicked her in the stomach, and she was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, Detective Lt. James Jones said.
The man was found outside the apartment trying to flee from the scene. However, he was taken into custody, booked and held for 12 hours before being released pending application for warrants. Arnold Police will seek felony assault charges against the man through the Jefferson County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office, Jones said.
