Tools worth more than $4,500 recently were stolen from the back of two truck parked outside Arnold homes. The theft happened overnight between Nov. 24 and Nov. 25, Arnold Police reported.
One of the thefts was from a truck parked in the 400 block of Spruce Court. Those tools were in the truck bed inside an unlocked tool box. They were valued at $1,050, the report said.
Two concrete saws and other tools, altogether valued at about $3,500, were stolen from a different truck parked in the 2100 block of Blossom Lane.
As of Nov. 29, the tools had not been recovered, and there were no suspects or arrests, Detective Lt. James Jones said. Anyone with information about the thefts is asked to call Arnold Police at 636-296-3204.
