Motorists will want to avoid the area around North Mill and North Fifth streets in Festus on Wednesday (Nov. 18).
The railroad crossing at that intersection is scheduled to be closed from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. that day while maintenance work is done, Festus city officials announced.
BNSF Railway will perform the maintenance work, Festus officials said.
