Seven people, including four juveniles, were seriously injured in a two-vehicle crash on Hwy. 30 at Rock Creek Road in High Ridge on Monday evening, April 22, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 6:35 p.m., Christina M. White, 29, of Lonedell was driving an eastbound 2016 Chevrolet Traverse and reportedly failed to stop at a red light, striking the rear of an eastbound 2024 Chevrolet Equinox, which was stopped at the light and driven by James R. Gipson, 49, of Cedar Hill, the report said.

James Gipson and two passengers, Angela S. Gipson, 45, of Cedar Hill and a 13-year-old Cedar Hill girl, were seriously injured, the report said. White and her three passengers, a 9-year-old girl, a 6-year-old girl and a 4-year-old boy, all from Lonedell, were also seriously injured.

According to the report, the Gipsons, their juvenile passenger and White were taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County. The 9-year-old was taken by Eureka Fire Protection District to St. Louis Children’s Hospital in St. Louis, and the 4-year-old and 6-year-old were taken to the children’s hospital by Fenton Fire Protection District.

According to a hospital spokesman, as of Wednesday afternoon, April 24, Angela Gipson was in good condition, James Gipson was in satisfactory condition and White was treated and released.

Because the children are juveniles, the Patrol did not release their names.

Both vehicles were totaled, the report said.
