An Irondale man was hurt this morning (Feb. 8) in a one-car accident on Hwy. 67 south of Oakbrook Road in the De Soto area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 6:27 a.m., Cody L. Ferrell, 31, of Irondale was headed north in a 1990 Buick Century and fell asleep before the car ran off the right side of the road, struck a tree, overturned and struck another tree, the report said.
Ferrell was moderately injured and taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, where he was treated and released, a Mercy spokeswoman said.
Ferrell was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
