Michelle Castor of Imperial sent in these photos of Godiva, a mini Bernese mountain dog-poodle mix, left, and Bailey, a bichon frise.

Michelle Castor of Imperial said her dogs, Bailey and Godiva, have brightened her life.

She calls them her “four-legged babies.”

Bailey, a 14-year-old bichon frise, and Godiva, a 2-year-old mini Bernese mountain dog-poodle mix, are buddies despite their different personalities, Castor said.

“Bailey is laid-back. He sleeps a lot,” Castor said. “My son surprised me with him as a Christmas present 14 1/2 years ago. (Bailey’s) very friendly. He loves everybody. He weighs about 12 pounds.”

Godiva is more reserved, Castor said.

“She is very friendly, although a little skittish,” Castor said. “When I brought her home, she was 3 1/2 pounds. She weighs 20 pounds now. It’s all fur.”

Bailey and Godiva get along well.

“They’re both very loving, very friendly,” Castor said.
