Tom and Paulette Zacher of the Fenton area said their 12-year-old Siamese cat, Cheyenne, enjoys lounging on a comfy chair in their home, as shown in this recent photo.
“That’s his favorite chair in the house,” Tom Zacher said.
Paulette Zacher said Cheyenne can often be found there.
“That’s his favorite spot in the house,” she added.
Paulette said Cheyenne, who weighs 22 pounds, has a canine quality about him.
“He thinks he’s a dog,” she said. “If he would bark, I would faint. But, he does everything like a dog."
Despite his advanced years, Cheyenne is playful, although he plays in a more laid-back way than when he was younger.
“He’s a senior,” Paulette said. “He plays. But when he plays, he lays down to play.”
