The Festus Middle School Tiger Talent theater program is presenting the musical, “Schoolhouse Rock Live! Jr.” through Saturday at Festus Middle School, 1717 W. Main St.
The play will feature songs from the popular Saturday morning short-form educational series that aired from 1973 through 1984, with repeats and new episodes produced since then.
The seventh- and eighth-grade students will sing and dance to such memorable classics as "Conjunction Junction," "I'm Just a Bill," "Interplanetary Janet," "Three is a Magic Number," "Elbow Room," and "The Great American Melting Pot."
The finale will begin at 2 p.m. Saturday.
The play is directed by literacy teacher Michelle Ganey.
