St. Pius X junior Cody Shaver is the first football player in county history to rush for 3,000 yards. Shaver finished the season with 3,002 yards after the Lancers were shut out 59-0 by Blair Oaks in the Class 2 Show-Me Bowl on Dec. 6. It was the first appearance in the state final for St. Pius.
