The junior quarterback scored an 80-yard touchdown run on the first play from scrimmage in the season opener at Jefferson on Aug. 28. The Owls trailed the Blue Jays 14-6 at halftime, but in the second half, Black had TD runs of 86 and 81 yards, senior running back Jack Kuda ripped one off for 72 yards, and Windsor rallied to win 34-20 in the first meeting ever between the schools. Black finished the game with 306 rushing yards.
