The senior setter had 37 assists in each of the Lancers’ three-set wins against Windsor on Oct. 19 and Hillsboro on Oct. 20. She ranks third in assists in the St. Louis area, averaging 10.15 per match. St. Pius (17-6-3) has won six straight matches and is the No. 2 seed in the Class 4 District 2 tournament. The Lancers finished second in the state in Class 2 in 2019. “Sarah’s speed, finesse and ability to connect with our hitters is an invaluable combination that I feel makes her one of the top setters in the area,” St. Pius head coach Shannon Leftridge said.
