William Steven “Bill” Almany, 51, of Festus died Dec. 8, 2014, at Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur. Mr. Almany was the owner/operator of Tan Express in Festus. Born Dec. 21, 1962, in Festus, he was the son of Stella (Dunker) Almany of Festus and the late Donnell Lee Almany.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Karen (Lee) Almany; three sons: Nathan Almany of Arnold, Tyler Almany of Festus and Caleb Almany of Festus; four brothers: Tom Almany of Festus, David (Lisa) Almany of St. Louis, Jim (Tammie) Almany of Festus and Tim (Julie) Almany of Festus; and a grandson: Andrew Almany.
Visitation is scheduled from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main in Festus. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 13, at the funeral home, officiated by the Rev. Randy Gray and the Rev. Tom Skiles. Burial is in the Almany-Madison-Howe Cemetery in Festus. Arrangements are under the direction of Vinyard Funeral Home.
