Steven Louis Yount II, 40, Dittmer

Steven Louis Yount II, 40, of Dittmer died April 26, 2021. Mr. Yount was a welder and heavy equipment operator. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing, hunting, riding motorcycles. He will be remembered for his caring nature. He was the son of Steven and Karen (Merrill) Yount.

He is survived by two children: Davon Yount and Gracie Yount; a brother: Joe (Michelle) Yount; two nieces: Caroline and Callie Yount; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Joseph Merrill, Doris and Noel Thomas, and Leon and Maybelle (Welker) Yount.

A memorial service will be held from 1-6 p.m. Saturday (June 5) at the pavilion at the Big River VFW Post, 1 Lynn Lane, in Cedar Hill. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary in Cedar Hill.
