Stephen Lee Gan, 70, of Dittmer died Dec. 25, 2022. Mr. Gan was a production worker. He enjoyed fishing, going on vacation and spending time with his family. He will be remembered as a simple man who was a lot of fun and enjoyed making people laugh. He was a music lover and enjoyed going to concerts with his wife. Born Nov. 2, 1952, in Valley Park, he was the son of the late Kenneth and Shirley Gan.
He is survived by his wife: Mary Gan; three daughters: Melanie Lewis, Cheryl (Ken) Oberkrom and Shannon (Robert) Petro; a sister: Kris Gan; three grandchildren: Meaghan and Daniel Lewis and Evan Valentine; and three great-grandchildren: Myles, Warren and Elias Phillips. He was preceded in death by a brother: Kenny Gan.
A celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, at the Valley Park Lions Club, 1001 St. Louis Ave., in Valley Park. Memorials may be made to the Valley Park Lions Club. Arrangements were under the direction of St. Louis Cremation.
