Sandy Bahr, 73, of Cedar Hill died April 14, 2018, at SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton. Mrs. Bahr was an avid Elvis fan and enjoyed watching movies and “Wheel of Fortune,” and listening to country music. She loved spending time with her family and friends and her dog. Born Feb. 2, 1945, in Portland, Maine, she was the daughter of the late Ruby (Leon-Andrews) Kerr and the stepdaughter of the late Cecil G. Kerr.
She is survived by two children: Pamela (Aaron) Britton of Dittmer and James R. Richardson of Fenton; four grandchildren: Star Richardson, Zachary (Stella) Henson, Race Richardson and Ashley Faith Richardson; two siblings: James H. (Edith) Fisher of Cedar Hill and Faye (Joe) Wester of Grubville; several nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles; many friends; and her dog, Kissee.
A funeral service is scheduled for 2 p.m. Friday, April 20, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to Open Door Animal Sanctuary, 6065 Duda Road, House Springs, 63051; or to the American Heart Association, Midwest Affiliate, 3816 Paysphere Circle, Chicago, IL 60674. Arrangements are under the direction of Chapel Hill Mortuary.
