Isabella Gabrielle Seay, 21, who lives northwest of De Soto, has been accused of fleeing from a Crystal City Police officer who was trying to conduct a traffic stop. Seay was allegedly driving a car with a defective driver’s side taillight, according to court documents.
Seay has been charged with felony aggravated fleeing a stop or detention. She was arrested on the charge on Feb. 1, and as of Monday, Feb. 2, she was being held without bond at the Jefferson County Jail in Hillsboro, court and jail records show.
Seay on Oct. 30 was driving a 2001 Nissan Altima west on Bailey Road when the officer tried to stop her. Seay slowed down but did not stop, according to the case’s probable-cause statement.
She then allegedly drove through a red light at the intersection of Bailey Road and Truman Boulevard. After failing to stop at the red light, she drove west on eastbound Bailey Road and reached speeds of 80 mph in a 20-mph zone, the report said.
