Ruth Ann Anderson, 71, of Aurora died Jan. 17, 2022, at Roaring River Health and Rehabilitation in Cassville. Mrs. Anderson was a 1969 graduate of Festus High School. She worked at a cheese curd factory in Wisconsin and as a certified medical technician at the Twin City Manor in Crystal City. Born March 22, 1950, in Festus, she was the daughter of the late Thelma (Hinton) and Henry Ellis.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Gary Blaine Boxwell, whom she married in 1970.
She is survived by a son: Ian (Ellen) Boxwell of Aurora; two sisters: Betty (Keith) Welch of Hillsboro and Janet (Scott) Rebstock of Valley Park; and a brother: Gary (Angie) Ellis of Dittmer.
No services are planned at this time. Arrangements are under the direction of Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home in Aurora.
