Ronald Lee Cobb, 81, of Richwoods died Dec. 26, 2021, at Hillcrest Care Center. Mr. Cobb owned and operated Cobb’s Grocery Store in Richwoods and formerly owned and operated Ron’s Produce. He was a charter member of the Richwoods Fire Department, a member of the Police Auxiliary and the Richwoods Lions Club and served on the local school board. He was an entrepreneur and enjoyed antique collecting. Born in Louisville, Ky., he was the son of the late Ben and Katie Octavia Cobb. He was preceded in death by his wife: Shirley Bernice Cobb.
He is survived by three sons: Ronald L. Cobb Jr. of Richwoods, Gregory (Angie) Cobb of De Soto and Kenny (Mary) Cobb of Richwoods; a daughter: Heather Cobb of Illinois; a brother: Oral "OB" (Marylon) Cobb of Hillsboro; four grandchildren: Ronald (Sarah) Cobb III, Cory (Beth) Cobb, Dakota Cobb and Dameon Cobb; and one great-grandchild: Finnegan Milo Cobb.
Services will be held at a later date at PRC. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Funeral Home in De Soto.
