Robert “Bob” Eugene Sprinkle, 75, of Bloomsdale died Feb. 26, 2021, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Sprinkle worked as a hod carrier for Leonard Masonry. In his spare time, he enjoyed going to shooting matches and animal auctions. Born Dec. 11, 1945, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Lawrence and Gertrude (Jones) Sprinkle.
He is survived by his wife: Vickie Lynn (Brown) Sprinkle of Bloomsdale, whom he married on Sept. 10, 1999, in Farmington, as well as his stepson: Timothy Patrick Brown of Bloomsdale; two daughters: Gina (Jimmy) Sprinkle-Parker of south St. Louis and Donna Sprinkle of Cedar Hill; a sister-in-law: Nancy Sprinkle of Arkansas; three brothers: Darrell (Dot) Sprinkle of Lake St. Louis, Steve (Kathy) Sprinkle of Fenton and Larry (Karen) Sprinkle of Dittmer; two sisters: Patsy Buxton of Desloge and Sharon Hayes of Desloge; four grandchildren: Danielle Beck, Blake Chiodini, Lily Rose Parker and Jacob Parker; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by a stepson: Michael Chiodini; a brother: Ed Sprinkle; and a sister: Linda Colburn.
