Rita L. Rotter, 75, of Hillsboro died Oct. 3, 2015, at her home. Mrs. Rotter was a member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church and enjoyed going to the De Soto Senior Citizens Center. She loved movies, gardening, flowers, reading and attending her grandchildren’s activities. Born Nov. 22, 1939, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late John and Loretta (Albers) Koller. She was preceded in death by her husband: Herbert Rotter.
She is survived by two children: Sherry (Dale) Scott of Hillsboro and Dawn (John) Broeker of Hillsboro; four grandchildren: Brian Scott, Steven Scott, Samantha Broeker and Hunter Broeker; two great-grandchildren: Gavin Scott and Avery Scott; and one sibling: Delores Wallek of Navaree, Fla. She was preceded in death by two siblings: Bob Koller and Ruth Bolen.
Visitation is scheduled at 10 a.m. and a funeral service at 1 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 10, at Chapel Hill Mortuary, 6300 Hwy. 30, in Cedar Hill. Burial is in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
