Richard Steven “Steve” Bellew, 71, of St. Louis died June 24, 2021, at the de Greeff Hospice House in St. Louis. Born Sept. 9, 1949, in St. Louis, he was the son of the late Wanda (Moore) Davidson and Wilburn Levell Bellew.
He is survived by a companion: Patricia Bible of St. Louis; a daughter: Melissa Bellew; three siblings: Janice Bellew Pennock of Sullivan. Amber (Sonny) Jaques Boyer of Festus and Beth Ann (Mike) Jaques Svoboda of St. Louis; a grandchild; 12 nieces and nephews; 16 great-nieces and great-nephews; and 21 great-great-nieces and great-great-nephews.
He was preceded in death by a sister: Karen Bellew; and two grandparents: Edman and Ella Marion Moore.
A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
