Phyllis Louise Montgomery, 61, of Herculaneum, formerly of St. Louis, died Jan. 5, 2016, at Scenic Nursing and Rehabilitation in Herculaneum. Mrs. Montgomery was a retired lab technician for a dental office. She enjoyed reading and using the computer. Born April 24, 1954, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of the late Joe and Etta (Caine) Elkins. She was preceded in death by her husband: Carl W. Montgomery.
She is survived by a son: Carl (Jessica) Montgomery of De Soto; five grandchildren: Brittany, Joseph, Brandon, Sean and Elizabeth; and one great-grandchild: Brayden.
Funeral services and burial were private. Arrangements were under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel in Festus.
