Patrick Caldwell Gray, 80, of De Soto died Aug. 24, 2021, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Mr. Gray was a retired cartographer for the U.S. government’s Defense Mapping Agency and a member of Park View Baptist Church in De Soto. He was a member of the NRA and a Master Mason with Granbury Lodge 392 AF & AM, Knights Templar and Moolah Shrine Temple. Born April 27, 1941, in Ft. Worth, Texas, he was the son of the late John and Thelma Gray.
He is survived by two siblings: Gayle (Ken) Shelley and James Gray, both of Wharton, Texas; a niece: Kathryn Creech; and two nephews: James and Michael Shelley.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until a funeral service at 10 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 9, at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home, 220 N. Main, in De Soto, officiated by the Rev. Mike Blank. Arrangements are under the direction of Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home.
