Jennifer Lynne Holtz, 58, of Festus died Sept. 10, 2023, at Mercy Hospital South in St. Louis County. Ms. Holtz worked as a caregiver and she was a member of the Huntington’s Disease Society. She enjoyed coffee chats, flowers, music and shopping. Born July 5, 1965, in St. Louis, she was the daughter of Nancy P. (Anglin) Ganninger of Festus and the late John L. Smith, and the stepdaughter of Beverly Smith of High Ridge.
In addition to her mother and stepmother, she is survived by two sons: Sam Holtz of Festus and Gary Edington of Bonne Terre; two brothers: Justin Smith of Harrisburg, Ill., and Sean Smith of Festus; a sister: Tammy Largent of Festus; four grandchildren: Evan, Raegan, Maximus and Amara; and many other family members and friends.
She was preceded in death by two sons: Conor Holtz and Seth Edington.
A memorial gathering is scheduled from 3-4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 23, at Mahn Twin City Chapel, 515 Collins Drive, in Festus. Memorials may be made to the Huntington’s Disease Society of America. Arrangements are under the direction of Mahn Twin City Chapel.
