Zachary Dale Gibson, 48, of Festus died Oct. 4, 2024, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City. Mr. Gibson was the owner and operator of Zachary Gibson Insurance Agency and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially babysitting his granddaughters. His hobbies included traveling, cooking and attending sports events, particularly the St. Louis Cardinals. He was known for helping others. Born March 7, 1976, in Farmington, he was the son of Sharon (Mathes) Gibson of Bismarck and the late Terry Gibson.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife: Chrystal (Tullock) Gibson; two daughters: Kaley (Jordan) Enzmann of Hillsboro and Faith Gibson of Festus; a brother: Nathan (Daisy) Gibson of Bismarck; a grandfather: Kennith (the late Erma) Mathes of Pilot Knob; two granddaughters: Adelyn and Mallory Enzmann; and other family members and friends.
Mr. Gibson chose to be an organ and tissue donor.
Visitation is scheduled for 2 p.m. until funeral services at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 12, at Vinyard Funeral Home, 616 W. Main St., in Festus.
