Willa Geraldine Gilbreath, 80, formerly of De Soto, died Feb. 12, 2026, in Springfield. Mrs. Gilbreath was a dietary worker for Stonebridge in De Soto. She enjoyed quilting, reading her Bible, going to church, being outdoors and, most of all, spending time with her family and friends. Born Sept. 15, 1945, in Richwoods, she was the daughter of the late James William Watson and Mary M. (Thebeau) Watson.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Usless Gilbreath.
She is survived by two brothers: Bill Watson of Springfield and Tom Watson of Iron Mountain Lake; a niece: Trish Barton of Halltown; a sister-in-law: Sabrina Watson of Missouri; and numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.
She also was preceded in death by four brothers: John Watson, Roy Watson, Jack Watson and Bob Watson; three sisters: Maggie Kenuam, Virgie Hembree and Betty Boyer; three brothers-in-law: Henry Kenuam, Bill Hembree and Dick Boyer; and three sisters-in-law: Stacy Watson, Vickie Watson and Kay Watson.
Visitation is scheduled from 11 a.m. until a funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 21,at Mahn Funeral Home, 900 N. Main St. in De Soto, officiated by Bob Thebeau. Interment will follow in Crestlawn Cemetery in Ste. Genevieve. Memorials may be made to Pony Bird, 1615 Vine School Road, Herculaneum, 63048 or by calling 636-282-4400.
